A nurse is an independent health care practitioner who, along with a doctor, is responsible for an individual's health and well-being.
Head Nurses are in charge of all the nurses on staff, regardless of when they work the duty roster.
Nurses do not report to doctors, they report to the Head Nurse, except in instances where the Chief Medical Officer needs to get involved as a Department Head.
