Hdrael 1 (Starbase 1) is a Tagor class base facility in orbit above Romulus. Hdrael 1 serves as home port for the 1st Division of the Imperial Fleet and is the main point of arrival and departure for ships, both military and civilian, visiting the planet.
Hdrael 1 features a number of shops and restaurants to cater to its various guests and residents, and both the Imperial Fleet and the Tal'Shiar maintain a strong presence on the station. The Phi'lasasam (Imperial Academy) also has facilities on Hdrael 1, where among other subjects it offers tactical and EV training.
A civilian ship repair facility exists on the station, but most military vessels are taken to the nearby Reman Imperial Shipyards for repair.
