The Valkyrie-class Attack Fighter is a fighter-class starship.
These attack ships were designed to work in conjunction with Typhon-class carriers introduced at the same time. The first testing of the design came in early 2377 when the USS Typhon and Valkyrie Squadron became involved in the Titan System Incident.
The Super Valkyrie was phased out in the last years of the 24th century, as continued modifications and upgrades to the Peregrine Class proved more cost-effective than continued production of Valkyries and Super Valkyries.
