Tripolymer plasma is a type of plasma composed of elements unknown to the Federation, used by the Pralor and Cravic to power the chromodynamic power modules in their automated personnel units.
Warp plasma from a Federation starship is a very different substance than tripolymer plasma, most notably because it is more highly charged. It can, nevertheless, be made compatible with tripolymer plasma if regulated through a series of anodyne relays.
