Not much is known about the Tholian homeworld, Tholia.
Tholian biology requires high temperatures around 480 Kelvin (207 °C, 404 °F), suggesting that their home planet has a base temperature of at least their body temperature. While the species could tolerate lower temperatures for a brief period of time, prolonged exposure to less than 380 Kelvin caused death.
It has been theorized that the planet suffers from earthquakes, and has regular volcanic eruptions, both above and below ground.
Though this planet has not been examined due to the species' extreme xenophobia, the planet classification is likely E, F, L, N or perhaps even Y-class.
