== Lineage ==
The ''USS Titania'' was named after the largest of [[moon]] of the planet [[Uranus]] in the [[Sol system]]. <br>The moon itself was named after the queen of the fairies in Shakespeare's ''A Midsummer Night's Dream''.
*H.M.S. Titania (F32) was a submarine depot ship, launched for the Royal Navy in 1915, served during World War II and scrapped in 1949.
