==How does it differ from Star Trek Canon?==
Federation Space has a rich history spanning nearly twenty years that diverts from established canon within the franchise itself. As later episodes of Voyager, Enterprise, and the movie Star Trek: Nemesis were aired after the site began, they are not considered wholly canon. Star Trek: Discovery is part-not canon: ship classes and alien races introduced during for the series are canonpurposes of Federation Space continuity, while events are notit is considered to have taken place in the Kelvin Timeline. Star Trek: Picard will not be made canon as it takes place after the events of the First and Second Great [[Timeline Splinter]]s.
