The ninth host of the Dax symbiont, Ezri met some friction when she came aboard Deep Space 9. The crew missed their dear friend Jadzia, and Ezri’s joining to Dax was done as an emergency procedure to save him. Her personality now totally changed, Ezri had left her posting on the ‘‘USS Destiny’’ to take a leave of absence and figure out who she was now that she was joined to Dax. Meeting with Ben Sisko to try and get a feel for Dax’s last host, Sisko asked Ezri to stay on DS-9 and become the station’s [[Counselor]].
