The USS Magellan, FSC-28019 is a Yeager-class scout, currently assigned to the Expeditionary Group based at Pioneer Outpost. Launched on Stardate 21811241811.15 at the San Francisco Fleet Yards, under the command of Commander Serran Zan. Magellan's three month shakedown cruise was crewed by Cadet Training Squadron 47, also known as Red Squad, under supervision of the Commander. The combined shakedown and cadet cruise culminated in travel through Transwarp Gate to Pioneer Outpost, located near the Dozaria system. Built with speed and maneuverability in mind, equipped with advanced sensors, the Magellan was to join the exploration of new territories beyond Federation Space.
