|History= Jason is the only child of Michael and Kayla Blair. Jason's father was Chief Security Officer aboard the USS MonDak. When Jason was born his mother moved back to Montana, she didn't want her son growing up on a Starship. Jason grew up on his grandfather's ranch. His grandfather Jason Blair taught him how to hunt and survive in the wild. He would take Jason camping every summer.
When he was in school he met Randy Mugg. Randy and Jason became good friends, both their parents had served in Star Fleet. Jason and Randy both enjoyed hunting and camping with Jason's grandfather. All the way through high school Jason and Randy were all ways together. When Jason's grandfather passed away, Michael retired and took over the his fathers farm.
After high school Jason and Randy both joined Star Fleet at the same time. During their first year there Jason met Rachel. Rachel and Jason were together through out the academy. Before their final year at the academy Jason, Randy, and Rachel went to Montana for one final camping trip. Before they left Rachel told Jason that she had been dating Randy for the past few months and wanted to end their relationship. Before the beginning of the last year Randy and Rachel dropped out of the academy.
Jason finished his last term, but kept to himself. Before graduation Jason received an invitation to Randy and Rachel's wedding. Jason refused to go the wedding and was looking forward to getting off of the planet.
