A survivor of the Dominion War, Tallen never actually left the Trill homeworld in his entire life. He was a farmer and content with remaining on his homeworld growing good real food to feed those without fancy food replicators etcetera. He had a loving wife and five children, two girls and three boys, who were around his bed when he died, age 86. (Joined age 22)

A trader, Girran gave Zan it’s first experience of interstellar travel. He built up a successful business trading with neighbouring systems, until a spaceborne virus took hold and forced him to return to Trill. His eldest son took over the business when Girran’s health began to fail, and the family name still runs the business to this day. Girran was 24 when he was Joined, and 52 when he died.
