Sirillium is a volatile element found within nebulas.
A possible use for sirillium was as a warp plasma catalyst, as when transformed into a gas, it provided an efficiency boost to deflector shields.
Fun Fact:
In 2293, the USS Excelsior ignited sirillium gas within the Azure Nebula in order to escape from a Klingon battle cruiser.
