Helven VI

Helven VI is a lesser known Borderland world, located in the region between Orion and Klingon space.
Its population is about half of its more well known Syndicate world, Verex III.

This planet is labeled by those ‘in the know’ as Risa’s "ugly sister."
The planet is rich and ripe in illegal pleasures, all available if one has the proclivity, and, of course, suitable collateral: latinum, flesh for trade, arms, other goods and services, even Federation credits (at 10% of its typical value).

Its mass is 0.8 of Earth. It is just far enough out of the major space lanes to make it a suitable haven for the nefarious and the greedy. The planet also has transporter inhibiting agents: kelbonite, thoron radiation and magnesite deposits, enough agents to make beaming impossible (at least for the foreseeable future).

Transit to the planet surface is via shuttle and like craft.

Humans are a distinct minority on the world. The Federation unofficially lists the planet as: "visit at one's own risk."

The ‘government’ is solely based on the strength, latinum and will of the Bosses; the hierarchy being a 'Big Boss', and a fluid number of ‘Lesser Bosses’ with the Lesser Bosses attempting to become the singular Big Boss.

Last known Intel data as of Stardate 21012.31 reported that the Big Boss on Helven VI is an Orion, Mr. Keethan Kodra. Kodra having become Big Boss after the death of another Orion Mr. Vrander Niithon (killed by one of his own Dabo girls).

Commander Gloria Dys, First Officer of the USS Copernicus, is believed to have been held as a virtual slave on the planet for several months circa 21003.09
