|History=Richard was born to parents who had lived in the same town all their lives. Dick grew up and attended local school and college that all his family has had attended. During his school years Dick learned of his family tree line. He learned that most of his male lines had served in the military, and that his military service line goes back to the Second World War. After the third world war, and during the time of upheaval, the families of Winters and Guarnere were joined by marriage of Winters' daughter and Guarnere's son. In his college years Richard decided that once he finished education he was going to follow the family line and join the marine corp. He passed training with specialist skills using all kinds of rifles, and then went through officer training at West Point Military Academy.

During Following his school years Dick learned his family tree graduation parade, 2nd Lieutenant Guarnere was sent straight to the front line and learned that most in command of his male lines have served in the military and that his military service line goes back to the Second World Wara small combat unit. Within a week, Dick had become friends with another Lieutenant from an opposite unit, 2nd Lieutenant Randleman. After the third world war During R&R and during the down time of upheaval, the families of Winters and Guarnere these two men were joined by marriage of Winters daughter and Guarnere sonalways found together going over their latest mission or battle plans.

In his college years Richard decided On one such mission, Lt Guarneres’ unit was called upon to rush to the aid of another unit which was bogged down in a fire fight with the enemy, upon arrival and evacuating the unit, it was learned that once the unit was in commanded by 2nd Lieutenant Randleman. Unfortunately, he finished education was killed in the fire fight. This effected Richard hard, and he even considered resigning his commission. However, after a few weeks back in a reserve area, Lieutenant Guarnere was able to, as much as possible, learn to live with losing his close friend. About 11 months after being deployed, Lieutenant Guarnere was going promoted to follow 1st Lieutenant and was given complete command of the family line and join company after the original commanding officer was killed the marine corpmonth before in an enemy raid on his command post.

He passed Following clearing out the planet of training with specialist skills using all kind rifles the enemy, which took 2 years, Richard and then went through officer training at West Point Military Academyhis unit returned to Earth for complete rest and relaxation.

Following his passing out paradeRichard was reassigned to the starship USS Dauntless CA-1553 as their Marine Commander, 2nd Lieutenant Guarnere where he served one mission before he was sent straight promoted to the front line in command rank of a small combat unitCaptain, within a week Dick had became friends with where he served another Lieutenant from an opposite unit, 2nd Lieutenant Randleman. During R&R and down time, these to man were always found together going over there latest mission or battle plans2 years.
