An enhancement module is a piece of portable computer technology that could be used to store large amounts of data.
It is typically used for "active memory," and is one-half of what makes up an optronic data core.
Example of Use:
In 2369, the self-aware holographic version of James Moriarty was stored in a tech cube, equipped with an enhancement module in order to keep his unique holodeck program running continuously.
- The module provided enough active memory to provide the character a lifetime of experiences.
