The Edosians are a tripedal species from the planet Edos. An Edosian has three legs, three arms, and three fingers on each hand and foot. Edosian skin is orange, and they have a bony face. Their necks are very long, and their bodies tend to be very thin.
Edosians are peaceful, having never been involved in a war, and they worship many gods. All beings on Edos are considered equal as there is no class system.
Because Edosians have a long life cycle, it is highly unusual for there to be more than one child per family, in order to keep the population down. As a result, all children are precious, and families are close. Ancestral records are kept in great detail, dating back for centuries.
Edosians are members of the United Federation of Planets.
