=Mission Summary=
After their encounter with the comet that turned out to be a Deltan ship, the crew of the Chin’toka was en route to Tellar, to meet with the Fleet in response to the Krynar’s appearance in the Sol System. Now they were on a timetable, and the duogravitic weapon they had tested earlier was needed in the upcoming encounter. En route, the crew learned of the destruction of Earth and Luna, which was later wiped from their memories due to the Copernicus and Intrepid going back in time to reverse the destruction.
As they arrived at their destination, there was a strange occurrence: Captain Gagarin was replaced on board by Captain Yvette, who had previously been removed from duty following the incident at Mericor. This was due to the time effects caused by the Copernicus and Intrepid. The situation escalated when Lieutenant Commander Fiore drew her weapon on the Captain, and refused to stand down to anyone’s authority.
In the resulting chaos, Fiore was arrested and relieved of duty. Upon communication with Command, Yvette was temporarily relieved of command, and Commander Codey was instated as Acting Commanding Officer. The Chin’toka was then able to continue on with their role in the battle with the Krynar. Upon resolution of the mission, Starfleet Intelligence took over, relieving many Senior Officers, including Codey, Erigneis and Roland of duty, until such time as a full investigation could be launched.
