Acamar (or Theta Eridani) is a binary star system located about 162 light years from Sol. This system is the home of the Acamarian species.

Background
Acamar is a real system in the Eridanus constellation. Modern scientists have determined Theta Eridani's components are spectral classes A1 and A4.
