A purple crystalline substance that occurrs naturally on the planet Beta Agni II. It is toxic to humanoids and some contamination was found in the water supply of Beta Agni's colony, which was later found out to be the work of Zibalian trader Kivas Fajo.

The antidote for Tricyanate is hytritium.
