Species slash

I was thinking that the slash between the species when there are two looks a little funny. Wouldn't it be better just to have a comma between them?

1/2 Human, 1/2 Betazoid

Instead of:

1/2 Human \ 1/2 Betazoid

I just think it looks busy with all the slashes, and taking one out makes it look neater. --Yvette 02:00, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

I think it looks funny as a back slash...I like Yvette's suggestion. --Beckett 05:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Spacing and Question

Is the bio template supposed to be spaced that way? Also, is this the new bio template that Tregelen has been changing us over to? And is the NPC bio template also the new template? I just want to make sure that new bios are created under the new template.--Yvette 13:00, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Are you referring to
| Name=
| Position=
If so then no it doesnt need to be spaced that way I just thought it was easier to read. If you are referring to the large spaces that appear when leaving information out of the template no these shouldn't happen. These were caused by too much information not being relevant to the character eg the Klingon only areas of the bio in a SF bio and visa versa.
This was the reason for the new bio template. They are not quite finalised yet (I still have the Klingon one to make although you can start using the SF and Romulan) but when they are the 'How To' page will be updated with the newest version and an email sent to each CO (Or whoever updates the wiki for that ship CCing the CO). The templates should be finished this weekend. --Tregelen 06:57, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, the first thing is what I meant. Thanks for letting me know. I'll make sure that the new bios are written with the new templates. --Yvette 11:39, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
