The Suliban are a nomadic, Categorywarp-capable humanoid species from Sector 3641, whose homeworld became uninhabitable in what Earth calls the 1850s. <br>The star in that system is now a red dwarf star.  Many Suliban settled in the Tandar Sector, but when the Suliban Cabal began warring with the Tandarans in 2144, all Tandaran-found Suliban were rounded up and placed in internment camps.    evaluations concluded that this species was "nonthreatening", not accounting for the growing terrorist organization that called themselves the Cabal.  They were notable during the mid-22nd century for their involvement as foot soldiers in the Temporal Cold War, which brought them into conflict with several other civilizations, including Earth.          == Anatomy ==The physical capabilities and tolerances of natural Suliban were comparable to those of Humans. Their skin varies from shades of green to shades to yellow, and appears as a 'dappled' texture. They have no hair on their bodies.   Suliban respiratory systems normally possess three bronchial lobes.   Members of the Cabal received extensive physical enhancements by way of futuristic genetic engineering. These enhancements varied among individuals, and could include greatly increased flexibility in all parts of the body, the ability to cling to walls and ceilings, the ability to alter the color and texture of their skin, enhanced vision, enhanced lungs for processing different atmospheres, and the ability to tolerate the vacuum of space.   == Known History ==The Suliban homeworld, located in Sector 3641, became uninhabitable in the 1850s. Most Suliban adopted a nomadic lifestyle, while some settled in the territories of other species, such as in the Tandar sector.  At some point after this, a group of Suliban came into contact with a mysterious figure from the 28th Century, who represented one faction in the Temporal Cold War. This individual offered genetic enhancements and advanced technology to the Suliban in exchange for their services. The Suliban Cabal was formed, and began carrying out attacks designed to destabilize various powers in the region.   Their first contact with humanity came in April 2151, when two Suliban pursued Klaang the Klingonto . The activities of the Cabal all but ruined perceptions toward the Suliban people as a whole. They began to gain the reputation of being dangerous monsters due to the modifications of the Cabal soldiers. Until their contact with the Cabal in 2151, the s regarded the Suliban as relatively primitive and non-threatening.  The Suliban Cabal was able to obtain various advanced technologies from their benefactor from the far future, including s and genetic engineering techniques. Genetic enhancements could be given to or removed from individual Suliban at will for reward or punishment.    == Culture ==Though largely nomadic, the Suliban that do settle down do their best to assimilate into whatever culture their new planet has.   After the , the presence of the Suliban greatly diminished. By 2409, the Suliban Cabalwas gone, and it large structures were used for shelter or scrap.   Examples of names:* Danik* Narra* Raan* Sajen* Sarin* Silik
