The Star Fleet Surgeon General is the highest ranking commissioned officer of the Star Fleet Medical Corps.

This position is responsible for overseeing and the administration of all Star Fleet medical personnel and facilities.


The Surgeon General's office has the power to relieve starship medical officers who are judged to be incompetent.
