=====[[Pegasus Mission 2: "Sunrise Over Carraya" - Stardate 21101.01|"Sunrise over Carraya"]]=====
This mission called for all of fourth fleet to merge on a distress call from the system. On route the Pegasus was attacked by ‘altered’ Klingons. The Klingons attacks how the reacted how they moved made them make Sothrick believe they were not true Klingon’s. They had a curious happening when hit by energy weapons. This further lent to the idea they were curiously altered. This did not impact the devastation that they had left behind. They easily and successfully boarded and nearly destroyed the Pegasus. Sothrick was still not sure how they repelled the Klingon’s but they did manage to do so but not with great loss of life. As Sothrick was part of Security detail he was chosen with several others to join a mission to the planet surface. There the carnage only got worse. In an attempt to help the citizens they met with Planet officials once actually meeting the regime in charge they were tricked and trapped. Several crewmates again were lost but again the team managed to make its way out as the Nova beamed them out in the nick of time.

This promotion made a bit of irony for Sothrick as he was now assigned to the same ship as to the woman he met and spoke with on Delta. While on the ship their relationship continued and grew.
===== Dalmatia Mission =====
This mission was the first where Sothrick was fully in charge of his own crew and department. On this mission Sothrick faced death once again which he was more than familiar with. He was used to it as a Marine and since he has now become Starfleet officer every mission he has been involved with has been that of significant danger. This however was the first that he was not only apart of but he was completely in charge of his own department. This also led to his first loss under his command. He had taken a small away team on the surface that was answered by hostile drones. These drones were responsible for killing one of the young Crewmen Recruits. This loss weighed on Sothrick but after returning to the Sheirdan the crew was informed of an impending war as an unknown force had attacked two Federation bases as well as the planet Bajor.
