She decided to keep it, to remind her of what she can do when she pushes herself, though explaining to every new doctor she meets that she wants to keep it has gotten a bit tiresome. |SFReg= |Dateyr=190 |Datemth=11 |Dateday=24 |Place=USS Cornwall |Marital=Single |Children= |Sibling=None |Mother=Amanda Chase (Deceased) |Father=Sakkar |Parents= Married (until Capt. Chase's death) |Pets=A Sehlat, named “Zihn,” while she lived on Vulcan. A miniature flowering cactus plant. |Friends= Dr. Annabelle Cooper - Taylor met Annabelle on their first day of the Academy. She was a medical student. They were instant best friends, and were roommates for all six years Taylor was at the Academy.

|History= Taylor Sakkar was born on the U.S.S Cornwall to a Vulcan scientist named Sakkar and Captain Amanda Chase of Starfleet. The two met while working on a joint science mission between Starfleet and the Vulcan Science Academy. They fell in love and married. Soon after Taylor was born. Capt. Chase and Sakkar ended up including both of their cultures in naming Taylor. Her first name, while a human name, was decided upon by using Vulcan naming conventions, and her last name was taken from her father’s name in a more traditional human convention. (More specifically it is her father’s name.)

Most of Taylor's childhood was on the U.S.S Cornwall. However, the mission eventually ended, and the Cornwall returned to Earth. Her father convinced Vulcan command to allow him to continue processing the data received on the science mission while living on Earth with his family, with consistent updates to the Academy every few weeks. They approved this request as it allowed for easy collaboration with Starfleet scientists.

Taylor spent a majority of the rest of her young life on Earth. As such she relates more to human culture than Vulcan. However, her mother and father both tried to be as present as possible during her youth, which resulted in her learning to live a nice balance between logic and emotion. Taylor was very active as a child and as an adolescent, trying out different sports and martial arts, and always exploring. She would later continue her martial arts training on Vulcan and during her academy years, and though she is quite good, she is not by any means a master. There was just something that soothed her about moving around, probably the endorphins.

It was because of this desire to explore and move that she found herself in a bit of trouble. One day, on a school trip to Mt. Shasta, Taylor wandered away from her group, unfortunately found herself on the edge of unstable ground and ended up falling into a crevasse. She was hurt badly, and lost consciousness for a few minutes. When she came to, she realized her leg was broken, and she had significant head pain. She found her communicator damaged, and after yelling for help for a period of time, she realized .She was terrified, but she realized that the only way that she was going to get help was to get back up to a path. She climbed slowly out of the crevasse, though the pain in her leg and head made it incredibly hard. Her teachers had begun searching for her right when they noticed she was gone, but had missed her during their first combing of the area because she was unconscious and unable to respond to their calls. They had summoned the authorities, and luckily found her during their second sweep of the trails. The emergency personnel immediately began treatment, but she refused to let them get rid of a cut on her cheek. She wanted to remember the fact that she had been able to pull herself out of the crevasse, that she had the mettle to be able to pull herself out of the crevasse.

When she was twelve, her mother was sent on a diplomatic mission. Capt. Amanda Chase was killed in the line of duty during this mission while attempting to assist a damaged Klingon vessel. At that point Taylor found herself solely in the care of her father. While he did the best he could, he was Vulcan through and through, and could not completely relate to his daughter's emotional existence. At a loss, Taylor found him trying to get her to identify more and more with the Vulcan way of life, even moving them to Vulcan. While this made sense, as there was no logical reason for them to remain on Earth, Taylor resented being pulled away from what she considered home.

On Vulcan she had trouble fitting in. Because of this, she spent a lot of time focusing on her studies and practicing the martial arts she had learned. She joined Starfleet as soon as she could, which for her was her 18th year, equally because she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps, because she wanted to explore, and because she really wanted to get off of Vulcan. Taylor was happy to find that in the academy, while there were still a few that judged her by her perceived species, most just treated her as a student and a Cadet, and allowed her room to be whoever she was going to be.

While in the academy she studied a great number of things, though usually shying away from science, much to her father's chagrin. In the end she found herself mostly interested in Tactical pursuits, as well as Psychology/Xeno-Psychology. She also found herself taking a course in emergency medicine, astrogation and various other topics that interested her. This broad spectrum of study resulted in her remaining in the Academy for six years as opposed to the more normal four to five years of other tactical students.

|Majors= Tactical, Psychology/Xeno-Psychology |Minors= Emergency Medicine, Astrogation |Hobbies= People-watching/analyzing, running, being active. |Short= Be the best Starfleet officer she can be. |Long= Become CO of her own ship. |Personality= Taylor walks a thin line between being emotionless like a good little Vulcan, and an emotionally mature human woman. Somehow she's, for the most part, managed to keep these two parts of her heritage equally balanced. This balance has also been a source of discomfort during her life, however. Many humans (including her last three boyfriends) still treat her as if she is a normal stoic Vulcan, and Vulcans typically disapprove of her display and acceptance of emotions, comparing her to the "V'tosh ka'tur" (Vulcans without logic). |Humor= Sarcastic and Witty |Phobias=Acrophobia (fear of heights)- She’s only afraid when the heights are significant, and she can usually push past it. |Likes= Watching/analyzing people, martial arts, sports of all types, reading, learning, exploring. |Dislikes= Caramel, people making assumptions, chocolate |Peeves= When people crack their knuckles |Habits= Getting insulted when her opinion is not taken seriously |Achievements= Masters Degree in Psychology/Xeno-Psychology |Disappointments= Moving to Vulcan |Illnesses=Taylor has had no significant illnesses |Strengths= Taylor is very good at split second problem solving and planning, as well as analyzing people due to her Psychological training. |Weaknesses= Taylor has a bit of a temper that she usually can control. It’s nothing compared to a human’s temper, but it’s still quite spectacular. She also sometimes over-analyzes situations. |Fears= Failure |Prejudices= None |Referrer= |Painful= Losing her mother |Time= Living on the USS Cornwall with both of her parents |Crucial= The day she pulled herself out of the crevasse proved to her she could do what she needed to do even in incredibly difficult moments. |Role Model= Her mother and father are equally her role models |Department=Tactical
