Star Fleet Tactical Command

Star Fleet Tactical Command oversees the training, creation, testing, and research and development of the Tactical field for Star Fleet.

Tactics and Strategic Planning

Includes and oversees the departments of Tactical Research and Development, Tactical Planning, and Tactical Assessment.

Director:

• Tactical Planning:

The department's primary task is to plan out current attack patterns for battles based on information given from Intelligence and estimate losses during battle.

Department Head:

• Tactical Assessment

The department's primary task is to assess the readiness of ships, bases or entire fleets and co-ordinates war games training scenarios.

Department Head:

• Tactical Research and Development

The department's Primary task is to research new tactics with the known capabilities and limitations of current date starships.

Weapons and Defense

Oversees the following departments: Weapons and Defense Assessment; Weapons and Defense Research and Development.

Director:

• Weapons and Defense Assessment

This department’s primary job is to assess Star Fleet’s current offensive and defensive status, whether it be planetary, star base or starship.

Department Head:

• Weapons and Defense Research and Development

This Department works to develope, design, and test, better weapons to protection against an attack. They work with handheld and large ship systems. This department closely cooridinates work with the Star Fleet Corps of Engineers

Flight Operations

Oversees the following departments: Test Pilot Corps; Fighter Pilot Corps; Starship Pilot Corps

Director: Capt. Mackenzie Braggins

• Test Pilot Corps

This department’s task is to test fly, and record any flaws in new starship or shuttle craft designs. Only given out to the most elite and daring pilots.

Department Head: Capt. Ronald Harrison

• Fighter Pilot Corps

An elite group of Pilots that have proven themselves in the highest manner. Fighter pilots are capable of escorts, offensive action and defensive action, for a star base, battle group, or a single ship.

Department Head: Capt. Anna Shultz

• Starship Pilot Corps

All Tactical officers are trained in basic flight control of a starship, though the Starship Pilot Corps is a group of highly trained Tactical Officers whose primary skill is that of flying, and navigating the ship; these officers are often assigned specifically as a starship's helm officer.
