|History=

S’hiarra was created and transported aboard the USS Pegasus during its mission to the Gamma Quadrant. She is a clone of Shione Kurasa. This mission took place 6 months before her posting to the Sheridan, and therefore her chronological age is 6 Months.

After the mission was over, she (and the other surviving clones) was placed in Styrolite, and transported to the Medical facility on Starbase Alpha, where Commodore Jal and Dr Sormok of Vulcan; among others managed to stabilize their DNA.

During her time at Starbase Alpha she was put through a series of tests, and interviews to determine whether she retained the skills and training that she obtained through the cloning process. She then took a number of ‘Make up Exams’ to complete the process. It was noted that she possessed a very high drive to serve, as a way to thank Starfleet for their expenditure of effort and time saving her and she was judged to be a skilled, stable and dedicated individual and was assigned as a Security Midshipman to the USS Sheridan with periodic Gene therapy she can live a normal life.

S’hiarra discovered that she was sterile however, but the hope was held out that with time and medical advancements that need not be a permanent condition.
