|History= Born to a half-Vulcan, half-Human father and a Betazoid mother, Aidan’s life has been one of duty. The eldest of three children, Aidan spent his early life emulating his father and mother as they travelled from ship to ship and starbase to starbase. When he was 16, Aidan’s father was killed when his ship was destroyed. When Aidan’s father died saving his family, Aidan made a promise to himself that he would work to protect his siblings.

Aidan left for Starfleet Academy shortly after that, and studied astronomical phenomena and weapon applications. He spent some time passing from ship to ship, but later joined Starfleet Intelligence, completing classified projects and eventually earning the rank of lieutenant commander.

A few years after he left the academy, Aidan’s sister was killed by a Romulan spy during a diplomatic mission. Aidan had to watch while his brother, Allanon, wasted his talents as a bartender and cook, and the two argued mercilessly. They spent a number of years without speaking, until the Krynar attacked Starbase 18, and Allanon called upon Aidan to help him find a posting in Starfleet.
