A plasma field is an energetic plasma disruption. Both navigation and sensors are severely limited by these fields.

Encounters:

• Plasma field in the Badlands are quite extensive, and so made starship navigation very difficult.

• The Denorios belt was a charged plasma field.

• In 2373, Benjamin Sisko used a runabout to detonate a plasma field, hoping to damage or destroy several pursuing Jem'Hadar attack ships.
