Palukoo
A spider that grew to roughly the size of a medium dog, this large arachnid is indigenous to the Bajoran moons.
Found in large numbers, traps are often set on Bajor to catch palukoo.
After mating, female palukoo kill males by chewing off the heads.
Fun Facts:
- During the Occupation of Bajor, Resistance members often survived on a diet of palukoo.
- In 2370, Kira Nerys and Jadzia Dax encountered a palukoo while passing through the caverns of the Lunar V base.
