Neural metaphasic shock is a complete and total failure of the nervous system in a humanoid, typically resulting in death.
It directly affects the chromosomes, and stops the process of cell division.
Once a person's cells stop dividing, the body goes into multi-system organ failure.
It can be treated with a drug known as Leporazine.
- This is a strong resuscitative drug used only in extreme circumstances.
