|Friends=David Gunter, aged 23. They were best friends, at neighbouring farms. Separated when David chose to stay back on the farm, while Jake went to the Academy. David still keeps in contact with Jake to this day, although they are not so close anymore.
|History=Jake was born on Earthto a family of two, becoming the third addition to the family. He was delivered at a small hospital in Scotland, near his parents ' farm in Scotland. He His family were part of a small village of mostly agricultural workers, and so he spent a lot of his early childhood at the farm, and learned learning a lot about hard work and labor. Often he would go Mountain mountain climbing with DavidTurner, his best friend. Once they got lost, but managed to make camp before they were located and rescued about 3 hours later, in after which Jake was given a very harsh scolding. He was very skilled in wood carvings, and often made them as gifts to people.
His father had told him a story before when he was 14, about a half-brother related to his side. His father told of a previous engagement, but he had divorced from his previous wife while she was still pregnant with Antonio, leading to his unsureness about whether the pregnancy was successful or not. Jake's interest had been piqued by that story, and always hoped that one day he might uncover the tale and meet Antonio. At the age of 15, an unidentified mine exploded near his house, severely wounding him and killing a few other civilians. There Jake's father was also hospitalised, and though any life-threatening injuries were also neutralised, he still walks with a few deathslimp. The question as to who planted the mine was still to this day unclearDuring a police interrogation, Jake's father finally revealed that he had been running from a debt that he had incurred from some Orion pirates when obtaining several rare earth antiques, however it was including a very shocking moment for himSmith & Wesson Model 10 revolver.
He also rescued a rather large band of scientists on an expedition near his village before. The band had been collecting underground rock samples on their local mountain when the collector malfunctioned and blew up a bridge nearby, their only way to leave the mountain. Upon their village hearing this, Jake was tasked with bringing them food and to repair the bridge. The endeavour was successful, and he received a commendation for what he did.
Due to mishandling of a lighter when he was 15 and a half, he had accidentally set a nearby grove on fire. Many people came to help, however some way or other, he had become trapped in the grove, and could only be rescued 3 hours after. He had many burns and nearly died because of the intense smoke coming from burning green vegetation, which was what led to his fear of fire. To this day, whenever he encounters bonfires or torches or any other flame-producing item, he chooses to stand a safe distance back. In extreme cases, he can even faint.
He got into the Academy via a visiting Starfleet officer in his village. His time at the Academy, however, was far more interesting than any of his previous experiences. He was a very punctual student, and loved taking walks through the academy campus. He did find it hard to make friends, but nevertheless got through the academy exams with flying colors.

USS Charon:
Jake was onboard the USS Charon as his first post andmade many good friends there, but however he was transferred to the USS Titania shortly afterward.
USS Titania:
Jake is now aboard the USS Titania, and is hoping to make many friends and have many adventures there!
