|History=Jake was born on [[Earth]] to a family of two, becoming the third addition to the family. He was delivered at a small hospital in Scotland, near his parents ' farm in Scotland. He His family were part of a small village of mostly agricultural workers, and so he spent a lot of his early childhood at the farm, and learned learning a lot about hard work and labor. Often he would go Mountain mountain climbing with DavidTurner, his best friend. Once they got lost, but managed to make camp before they were located and rescued about 3 hours later, in after which Jake was given a very harsh scolding. He was very skilled   His family's origins were from Malaysia, but his parents immigrated to the UK as they wanted to experience life in wood carvingsanother country, and often made them as gifts to peoplenot just follow the tradition of staying in Malaysia. Jake was born in the UK.  When he reached 9, his parents had saved up enough money to send him to a local school, where he got picked on a lot because of his "nerdinessweak social skills. Surprisingly, which he was what got him actually never really bothered by them, and instead proved himself in his low self-esteemschool's exams, gaining lots of awards and certificates. However, he never actually made many friends other than David. When he was 13, howeverunfortunately, he finally snapped and got into a large small fight at school, damaging several school classrooms and while not severe enough to damage any properties, did get him a small reprimand. He While he was not expelled, though, his parents felt it would be best for him to leave school and instead go homeschooled. He accepted the decision and continued to work at the farm, receiving tuition from a local friend. He was also very interested particularly in combat and warswar history as well as weapons, which was what got him interested in the security position.  His father had told him a story before when he was 14, about a Halfhalf-brother related to his side. His father told of a previous engagement, but he had divorced from his previous wife while she was still pregnant with Antonio, leading to his unsureness about whether the pregnancy was successful or not. Jake was extremely interested 's interest had been piqued by that story, and vowed to find always hoped that brother, and throughout his life one day he has always been finding out might uncover the tale and researching about his father's previous engagement whenever he has timemeet Antonio.  At the age of 15, an unidentified mine exploded near his house, severely wounding him and killing a few other civilians. There Jake's father was also hospitalised, and though any life-threatening injuries were also neutralised, he still walks with a few deathslimp. The question as to who planted the mine was still to this day unclearDuring a police interrogation, Jake's father finally revealed that he had been running from a debt that he had incurred from some [[Orion]] pirates when obtaining several rare earth antiques, however it was including a very shocking moment for himSmith & Wesson Model 10 revolver.  

 

 

 Before he left for Starfleet academyAcademy, though, his father gave him the family heirloom: A Starfleet Type 1 Phaser circa 2260. It was a family heirloom that, according to his great grandfather's will, was given to each and every young man or woman who joined Starfleet. In order to continue on with this tradition, Jake tried, and successfully brought it on board, and hid it in his quarters, hoping to this day no one would know and find out about it, seeming as it might be a violation of Starfleet regulations.However, his Phaser was discovered in a near accidental discharge in his quarters aboard the USS Charon by his Starfleet friend [[Lincoln, Richard|Lt (JG) Richard Lincoln]].  '''USS Charon:''' Jake was onboard the USS Charon as his first post and made many good friends there, but however he was transferred to the ''USS Titania'' shortly afterward.  '''USS Titania:''' Jake is now aboard the USS Titania, and is hoping to make many friends and have many adventures there! <br><br>
