Rotciv are a humanoid species, widely dispersed throughout the Alpha, Beta, and Delta Quadrants.

They became warp-capable sometime before what Earth calls the 21st Century, and were already present among the traders on Rigel X by 2151. By the late 23rd Century, a number of Rotcivs were enlisted in Starfleet, with one noted to have served on the USS Excelsior in 2293.

Frequently nomads, you can find Rotcivs everywhere, including working on freighters or for shadier bosses. However, Rotcivs have also been commended medics, especially during the Federation-Klingon war in 2373.

Their presence in the Delta Quadrant was noted by Captain Janeway.

The Mintakans are a proto-Vulcan humanoid species native to Mintaka III, who exist in a Bronze Age state of technology. Despite their relatively minimal technological advancement, Mintakan culture is highly empirical and by 2366 they had long since has rejected the notion of a god or other supernatural beings and . As of 2366, these people had already been collecting recording astronomical and archaeological data for several generations.
In 2366, a Federation anthropological team studying the Mintakans accidentally exposed the primitive culture to 24th century technology when the duck blind they were operating out of had a reactor failure. The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) responded to the situation and unknowingly worsened the cultural contamination when the Mintakans observed their comings and goings. As a result, the previously discarded beliefs in supernatural beings began to resurface in the village most directly affected. This would eventually lead to their mistaking Jean-Luc Picard for the Overseer, one of their gods. To avert the revival of religion, Captain Picard abducted the local leader, Nuria, to give her a guided tour of the ship to explain that the beings they discovered are simply mortals with advanced technology.
UnexpectedlyThis species was part of a scientific observational study conducted by the Federation in 2366. Unfortunately, Nuria believed that this the anthropological team was exposed when one of their reactors failed, causing their holographic "duck blind" to fail. When the provedUSS Enterprise that Picard was indeed responded, the cultural contamination deepened, and the OverseerMintakans' belief in gods returned. When they returned to the planetThey mistook Captain Picard for one of their old gods, Nuria finally believed and were only relieved of this belief when the truth when Picard Captain was almost killed by a Mintakan arrowwounded before their eyes.
Despite the cultural contamination occurred, the Mintakans were able to resume a somewhat natural society.
Despite the gross (though limited) cultural contamination by both the anthropological observation team and the Enterprise, the Mintakan villagers were able to resume their society at a natural pace.   Notes::* It has been documented that this may be a matriarchal society: Mintakan women always walk in front of the men as a sign of ownership, and to with stake out a negotiating position for any services that might be asked of the man.:* Knowledge of the Mintakan incident is restricted. In 2366, "Cadet Mitena Haro's" knowledge of the Enterprise's visit to Mintaka III led Captain Picard to realize she was an impostor.

The Crystalline EntityHaakonians was are a powerful, spaceborne creature characterized by a crystalline structure that resembled a large snowflake. It had warp speed travel capability-capable, formidable size, and humanoid species from the ability to consume all life on a planet or starship. Its origin was somewhere in Delta Quadrant. Their government is called the Haakonian Order.
The Entity functioned as a giant electromagnetic collector and needed constant power, converting organic matter into energy. Once the Entity ravaged a planet, its natural resources were completely stripped. No further life would be able to grow for many years. Everything, including vegetation and bacteria, was completely converted. Bitrious matter was usually deposited in the Entity's wake, as were elevated levels of hydrocarbons, lanthanides, and nitrates. The Entity was unable to penetrate rock lined with both kelbonite and fistrium. Both metals needed to be present in order to refract the Entity's absorption power. The shields of a Galaxy starship were also impervious to the Entity. Dr. Kila Marr was one of the Federation's foremost experts on the Crystalline Entity, studying twelve attack sites including Forlat III.
The EntityPhysically, to which thousands of deaths Haakonians are attributed, attacked the planet Omicron Theta in 2336, stripping all living material from the entire colony and killing many inhabitants, including Raymond Marr, Kila Marr's son. Colony residents Dr. Noonien Soong and Juliana Soong both fled during the attack aboard an escape pod, although Juliana Soong was severely injured. The android Lore was an ally of the Entity and responsible for luring it to Omicron Theta. He tried to "feed" the crew of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D to the Entity after he was revived in 2364. Enterprises shields were enough to protect it from the Entity, tall and Lore was eventually transported into space. The Crystalline Entity retreated to parts unknownpale skinned.
In 2368, the Crystalline Entity destroyed the fledgling colony on Melona IV. Two colonists, including Carmen Davila, were lost in the attack. Most of the colonists survived, thanks to a cavern lined with kelbonite and fistrium. The Enterprise rescued the survivors and brought Dr. Marr to the planet so she could further study the attack. She worked with Lieutenant Commander Data in order to develop a technique to communicate with the creature.
The Enterprise intercepted the Entity after it had killed the entire crew of a freighterSometime before 2346, the KalliskoHaakonians conquered Talax. They attracted the Entity This was followed by emitting graviton pulses at 10 per second from a decade-long war, which concluded with the HaakoniansEnterprise, as lower pulse rates had no effect deployment of a metreon cascade on the creatureTalaxian moon, Rinax. The creature approached the Enterprise, replying with a series of graviton pulses This weapon caused such devastation that the Enterprise crew interpreted as meaningful, but which it needed time to decode. Marr increased instantly ended the pulse ratewar, eventually trying a continuous graviton emission. The Entity stopped emitting pulses of its own as the emissions drove it into resonance. The Enterprise crew tried to stop with the emissions, only Talaxians yielding their homeworld and colonies to find that Marr had isolated the access code for the emission controls. Before the crew could halt the emissions, the resonance shattered the EntityHaakonians.
:The only known Federation encounter with the Haakonians was made by the USS Voyager in 2371, when a Haakonian scientist came aboard It is unknown whether Voyager seeking Neelix. The scientist had been involved in the Crystalline Entity war with the Talaxians, having been the one to develop the metreon cascade that killed thousands of Talaxians. Although allegedly seeking to cure a side-effect of that cascade, the man was a unique lifeform or simply a single member actually trying to reverse its original effects. Sadly his experiment failed, and he died of a speciesmetreon poisoning soon afterwards.

They have well-developed sweat glands, no taste buds, and a fused spinal column that prevents them from humanoid Delta Quadrant specieswalking. They are warp-capable with a technology level comparable to that intolerant of bright light because of their dilated pupils. Myleans and Star FleetTalaxians occasionally intermarried. Their medical knowledge is more advanced, however, as they can reanimate someone who is dead for more than two weeks. Kobali also have high regards for every life which is honored by the saying 'Never harbor anger towards those who have brought you death for they gave you the chance to live again.'
Kobali do not procreate to get offspring like other species; they salvage dead sentient life forms which they reanimate. Over a period of several months the DNA of the reanimated life form is altered by means of a genetic pathogen that converts most of the DNA into a Kobali protein structure. These biochemical changes affect every part of the body, leaving only trace amounts of the original DNA. After this he or she is given an Kobali name and placed in a Kobali family to help them acclimate. Reanimating is the most important Kobali custom which can be of conflict with other species burial customs when they occasionally meet. Reanimation causes extensive memory loss and some people will remember parts of their former life, better known as kynNeelix'steya. There are people who remember so much that it will force them to escape in search of their former life. They will be searched for by other Kobali to return them home. Kobali physiology differs from humansgreat-grandfather was Mylean. They have a sixHis Mylean genes became hyper-lobed brain and a binary cardiovascular system. It is, however, possible to change a person's appearance by inaprovaline injection, which needs stimulated due to be repeated to maintain the life form's previous appearance. This only helps for a short period of time because the Kobali genetic pathogen will undo the changes. There is not much variety in the Kobali diet; their main food looks like gray paste. When tasting other foods like a Jibelian berry salad, it will have a metallic flavor to them. Kobali made first contact with HumanSrivanis in 2376 via the starship USS Voyager when they were searching for a Kobali who escaped her family medical experiment in search of her former life. This contact did not proceed smoothly, but fortunately hostilities ended before they escalated. This is the only contact that the Kobali have had with Star Fleet2374.

Ninety percent of The Vori have the species same appearance as Humans. For an unknown reason they are female and they supplement their gene pool by mating engaged in a destructive war with members of other species. They achieve this by releasing a retro-virus on nearby planets that infects race called the host male and begins adjusting his DNAKradin. The host then starts to become Taresian and , although there is drawn no evidence as to Taresia where he is welcomed and told which species (incorrectlyif either) that he has always been Taresian and that originated on the species reproduce by implanting Taresian embryos in females of other speciescontested planet. The unsuspecting males are then separated from their shipmates war is reported to involve genocide and their every whim atrocities although there is catered for by the women no direct evidence of Taresia. Each male is then married to three females who mate with him. Unfortunately, the amount of DNA removed in the mating will kill the unsuspecting male, hence the Taresian's elaborate deceptionthis.
The Vori have an unusual training technique. They kidnap members of their species and/or aliens and place them in a controlled environment. A combination of drugs and virtual stimuli then convince the trainee that they have witnessed Kradin atrocities. The resulting soldier is fanatical in their desire to kill the Kradin "beasts". This deception method was uncovered by the crew used on Lieutenant Commander Chakotay of the USS Voyager in 2373 when Ensign Harry Kim was infected by the Taresian retrovirus. He discovered the body of one of the previous males and escaped his shuttle crashed on the planetin 2374.
For unexplained reasons the Taresians are at war with the nearby Nasari. Despite the Nasari being quite powerful, Taresian ships are quite capable of holding them off.

In 2372, attempts by Captain Kathryn Janeway of the Federation starship USS Voyager to form an alliance with one or more Kazon sects led to her forming such an alliance with the Trabe instead. The two were marooned inside, but were able to neutralize the barrier with the help of the Ventu. However, the Voyager crew restored the barrier when it was feared that interaction with the Ledosians would destroy the Ventu's way of life.

The Vhnori are a humanoid species, native to the Vhnori homeworld.

The Vhnori world is the site of many naturally-occurring subspace vacuoles, and these form the core of the Vhnori death tradition. They originally placed the bodies of the dead into these vacuoles believing that this would transport them to the Vhnori afterlife, called the Next Emanation.

Over time, this practice became combined with euthanasia. Vhnori citizens entered a device known as a cenotaph that killed them just before a vacuole opened.

Unknown to the Vhnori, the vacuoles actually led to a planet in the Delta Quadrant. On this planet, the bodies of their dead had been piling up for thousands of years, resulting in the only known concentration of element 247.

All this was accidentally discovered by Harry Kim of the USS Voyager when he was accidentally drawn through one of the vacuoles to the Vhnori homeworld in 2371. He returned using one of the cenotaphs, having seriously disturbed the Vhnori's faith. However, it was discovered that an unusual amount of neural energy existed in the planet's rings, perhaps implying that the Vhnori afterlife may not be completely without foundation.

The Vori are a species found on a planet in the Delta Quadrant. They are engaged in a war with the Kradin.

The Vori have the same appearance as Humans. For an unknown reason they are engaged in a destructive war with a race called the Kradin, although there is no evidence as to which species (if either) originated on the contested planet. The war is reported to involve genocide and atrocities although there is no direct evidence of this.

This method was used on Lieutenant Commander Chakotay of the USS Voyager when his shuttle crashed on the planet in 2374.

Zahl
In one possible timeline, the Zahl were a technologically advanced and generally benevolent humanoid species who, a generation prior to 2374, defeated the Krenim Imperium. The Zahl disbanded the Krenim fleet and retook the territories they had annexed. In 2374, two Zahl starships greeted the USS Voyager upon its arrival in their space. During the meeting, the entire Zahl civilization was erased from history by Annorax's weapon ship. The erasure of the Zahl achieved an unprecedented 98% Krenim restoration, although the Krenim colony on Kyana Prime was not restored.
It is unknown what became of the Zahl after the timeline was returned to normal.

Pardshay's species is a humanoid species.

n 2293, a member of this species was serving on the USS Excelsior. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country; VOY: "Flashback")

A member of Pardshay's species was a customer in a bar on Torman V when Jean-Luc Picard, Beverly Crusher, and Worf were undercover on the planet in 2369. (TNG: "Chain of Command, Part I")

A member of this species was at the Bonestell Recreation Facility in 2327. (TNG: "Tapestry")

Members of this species were often seen on Deep Space 9 in Quark's, (DS9: "Captive Pursuit", "Chrysalis") on the Promenade, (DS9: "Duet", "Favor the Bold") and in the Replimat. (DS9: "Progress", "The Ascent")

Three members of the species had a small argument in front of Odo's security office in early 2370. (DS9: "The Circle")

A member of this species named Pardshay served on the Xhosa in 2371. (DS9: "Family Business", "Indiscretion")

Another member of the species worked as a medic on Ajilon Prime during the war with the Klingons in 2373. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")

A disfigured member of this species was a customer of Quark's who had joined his cousin in dealing weapons. The customer tested a weapon in the holosuite against a holographic warrior. He was satisfied and told Quark he would purchase 2,000 units. (DS9: "Business as Usual")

Redjac is an intelligent, non-corporeal and non-humanoid entity which requires a humanoid host to enable it to feed. It has been encountered in the Alpha Quadrant, but its actual place of origin is unknown. Whether Redjac is a unique lifeform or a member of a species of similar lifeforms is also unknown.

It is composed of formless electromagnetic impulses. On the single occasion that it displayed its true form, it appeared as swirling masses of multicolored energy, but it is usually invisible.

To maintain its strength and to continue existing, Redjac needs to feed on the emotions of humanoids, specifically the emotion of fear. It accomplishes this by taking a humanoid as a host, and then using the host's body to commit brutal murders, thereby provoking strong quantities of terror for it to feed on. Redjac appears to be capable of inhabiting a humanoid host for as long as it requires, and can even remain after the death of the host by reanimating the body. It is able to use the host to communicate, and appears to also have access to the thoughts of its host, using them to act convincingly as the host between murders. For unknown reasons, Redjac almost always inhabits males, and kills females.

As well as humanoids, Redjac is also able to inhabit sophisticated computer systems. However, doing so appears to require more effort on Redjac's part than using a humanoid as a host. Redjac's origin is unknown, but it is known to have existed for several centuries. The earliest known appearance was in 1888 on Earth. By 2105, it had left Earth, travelling to the colonies on Mars, where it murdered eight women.

Given Redjac's unusual nature, there have been no confirmed encounters with it for many years.
