At Cambridge, where she received a PhD in applied Dynamics, and a masters in Psudo-procrastination, she met a dashing under-graduate by the name of Jools Sivitar.Jools was everything she ever wanted in a man, and on the day of her final exams proposed to her.
C-J accepted, but just two hours later, Jools was killed when an experimental Soliton generator exploded while he was preparing for his dissertation on the subject.
It wasn’t until a ship wide accident that she was discovered as she was helping the injured. Later she was taken on as a full (thought still a civilian), member of the crew.
