|History=
Ian Elliot grew up as the eldest of four children, taking responsibility upon himself to help out in any way he could. Although he grew up in Brooklyn, New York, Ian is 1/8th [[Klingon]], and is proud of his culture and heritage, especially since he does have noticeable, soft ridges on his forehead.
After his twin sisters were born, his parents had trouble conceiving another child. When his brother was born however, the child had many medical problems. It was discovered that the problem was lay in the boy’s genetics, and that he would was estimated to not live past twenty. Horrified, a young Ian stole the Doctor’s notes, and realized that genetics was nothing but math in his eyes. Ian then kidnapped his brother from the hospital and disappeared for just under a week, working with his brother on his cure. A warrant for arrest was put out for Ian, but when he and his brother returned, they had found a cure for the young boy, and the family insisted no charges were pressed. Ian thrust the work into the doctors' arms, and he sat in the hospital’s brig during the surgery. After Ian was let out, his family began to pressure him to go into the medical field.
In addition to being called a “wasted medical prodigy” by his family, Ian often finds himself with many unfinished projects. After graduating from the Academy, he stayed on [[Earth ]] doing various jobs for Starfleet until he found a stable assignment on in the [[USS SS Yeager, NCCNAR-65674|USS SS Yeager]]. With the whole ship itself being a project, Ian more or less pledged himself to the ship, opting to stay with it wherever it went.
