Personal History: Marcos was a Lieutenant Commander in Star Fleet when he finally came back home to Draconia. He married his lifelong love, and he and his family were celebrating along with other members of Draconia. Everything went well until he was flying in down town when another shuttle driven by a Betazoid pilot crashed into it during landing. Marcos, the Betazoid pilot, and only one other passenger survived the crash. His whole family and his beloved wife died in the crash. That depressed Marcos so badly that he put in his resignation and got help from the senior most Psychiatric therapist in the whole planet. The Betazoid pilot, due to his gross negligence, was tried and sentenced in a Federation Court. Sentenced to 50 years in prison and permanent removal of his license, as well as Draconia stating banishment of the pilot, Marcos on the other hand had to deal with the fact that on a medical level he couldn’t rejoin star fleet.
After two years of none stop treatment, Marcos was finally asked by a medical examiner to rejoin Star Fleet. The result of the interview was that Marcos could still retain the rank of Lieutenant Commander and be an Assistant Chief Medical Officer for a few years before finally becoming a CMO once again. Marcos got his wish. When he got to Star base Alpha, he found out that whoever handled his paperwork screwed up big time. He was reinstated as an Ensign and sent to any ship with an opening. There was only one opening though, and it was the USS Enterprise. Marcos learned that his old CMO was also the CMO of the Enterprise, and Marcos was more than thrilled with the assignment. Yet something came to his mind as he left the transport again. He accepted the fact that his whole family has passed on, and it would only be a matter of time before Marcos would run into someone, but he hoped to the god’s above that if it should happen, don’t let it escalate as far as it did with Alania.
