The Denorios Belt is a charged plasma field, located in the Bajoran system.
This belt divided the system: planets 1-9, and 10-14. The field is approximately 160 million kilometers from Bajor.
Prior to 2369, spacecraft tried to avoid the Denorios Belt, unless it was absolutely necessary.
Before this date, 23 assorted navigation reports documented neutrino disturbances in this area.
Should a ship enter, they would encounter tachyon eddies, at the very least, and possibly, ion storms.
Located inside the Belt is the Bajoran wormhole.
Fun Facts:
- Odo was found in the Denorios Belt in the 24th century.
- Five of the Orbs of the Prophets were found in this area.
