Worf, son of Mogh, was no stranger to the conflict of war. Orphaned as a child due to [https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Khitomer_Massacre Romulan attacks on his colony], he was adopted by a Starfleet petty officer, and raised him along his own on the farming colony of [https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Gault_colony Gault]. He became the first Klingon to join Starfleet, and served on both the [https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701-D) Enterprise-D] and [https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701-E) Enterprise-E], firming his reputation as a strong and able-bodied [[Security Officer]].
