Company
A Company consists of four platoons under the direction of a First Sergeant and a Company Commander.
A Company generally contains a minimum of 218 Marines.

Unit Composition
First Platoon
Consists of four Squads, a Platoon Sergeant, and a Platoon Commander.
Second Platoon
Consists of four Squads, a Platoon Sergeant, and a Platoon Commander.
Third Platoon
Consists of four Squads, a Platoon Sergeant, and a Platoon Commander.
HQ Platoon
Consists of four Squads, a Platoon Sergeant, and a Platoon Commander. The HQ Platoon is tasked with protecting the Company’s Headquarters and all the equipment and personnel located there, including the Company Commander.
First Sergeant (1Sgt)
Generally avoids combat, but like all Marines is armed with a P-1 Pistol and a standard issue Marine Tactical Survival Knife at all times during combat operations. The First Sergeant is responsible for coordinating the Platoons, and assisting the Company Commander.
Company Commander (1Lt-MCapt)
Generally avoids combat, but like all Marines is armed with a P-1 Pistol and a standard issue Marine Tactical Survival Knife at all times during combat operations. The Company Commander provides leadership to the Company and the Platoons that make it up. As an Officer, a Company Commander is expected to keep himself out of harm’s way.
