Early Life
Jenny was born a quiet child on Starbase Alpha to a woman who did not want her. She soon found herself sent to live with her father on the USS Philadelphia, and was raised by him and several of his friends until he transferred to the USS Enterprise. On the Enterprise, Jenny's father married her adoptive mother and for a while the three lived happily, and Jenny was soon joined by a little brother.

Jenny served on the Ticonderoga with the ship's Fighter Squadron, before moving on to become Wing Commander when her father's Light Carrier Group idea came to fruition. When the project was cancelled, she transferred with him to his new project; the 666th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing as a Squadron Leader. This assignment did not last long, however, as she wished to get out and see the Galaxy from a more peaceful perspective – a move her father initially disagreed with, but later relented on and assisted her in making a choice. Knowing most of the crew were also displaced, Jenny figured she should join like-minded individuals to explore this new existence with, choosing the USS Avenger as her next posting.
USS Avenger
The crew did not get much time to rest, as the Avenger soon found itself en-route to Tellar to join the fleet amassing to push the Krynar out of the system. During the battle, Jenny remained at the Helm of the Avenger – flying the Battlecruiser on manual the entire time. When the crew was affected by ‘Enlightenment Orbs’, Jenny felt she was the sole survivor aboard the ship and overrode the Tactical Controls – firing a full volley of twelve Quantum Torpedoes at a Krynar Dreadnought, which disappeared before the results of the volley could be seen. Though she relinquished Tactical Control back to the Avenger’s Chief Tactical Officer following the destruction of the Orbs, Jenny found herself wishing she could fly and fight by herself again – she was missing her Fighter Squadron.
Following the battle, her true position as a member of "Special Operations Command " revealed, Jenny wished to return to one of her father’s squadrons to fill the vacancies caused by casualties in the battle. To her surprise and anger, her father refused and revoked her operational status within Special Operations. The two had a falling out, and after some soul-searching and a conversation with now-Captain Crawford; Jenny decided to remain aboard the Avenger for the time-being.
The next mission saw the Avenger dispatched with a task force to the Krynar home system. Though the mission was a success, Jenny found herself physically and mentally drained from the combat experience and began to doubt her competency and ability to pilot the Avenger in such a way that wouldn’t see her make a mistake that got the rest of the crew killed. To make matters worse, the genocide of the Krynar had left a sour taste in her mouth – bringing uncomfortable memories from her past to the front of her mind. No longer able to stomach the senseless violence, or work with her Department Head; with whom she had been disagreeing more and more, she requested a transfer to the Test Pilot Corps; which was approved without the knowledge of Captain Crawford, who simply thought Jenny was running away, especially considering she had not informed any other members of the crew.
Jenny’s first assignment as a Test Pilot was testing the Avenger’s replacement support ship; an Escort with no name; just the designator ‘ESX-17184’. The ship was a wreck when she first saw it, but Crawford had assigned two other Avenger crewmates to the project to assist her – Jake and the new Tactical Officer, Acenvar Crystillin. It was during the refit process that Jenny confessed to the pair she had transferred away, eliciting an angry response from Jake. Jenny fled the confrontation before it truly began, but was followed by Jake and after a short discussion the two shared their first kiss. Though neither party truly understood what was going on between them, they agreed to discuss it following the test flight.
The test flight was a disaster. Jenny decided to overrule Jake’s suggestion of following the rulebook and stopping to thoroughly check the systems before engaging in a warp test, the result of which saw a near-insignificant flaw in a single circuit-board cause a deviation in the Escort’s flight plan – causing it to enter Klingon space. Though Jenny managed to pilot the Escort back out of Klingon space before it could be identified as a Federation vessel, the ship was severely damaged and Jenny wounded in the arm and chest before it was rescued by her father’s ship, the Anarchy. Though her father was not aboard, the senior officer aboard decided that the incident officially had not happened – the Escort’s computer core was completely wiped, and the ship repaired by Special Operations engineers before being delivered back to Starbase Delta.
Given time off to recuperate; Jenny developed an unlikely friendship with Zephyr Praise, whom she had nearly shot during her breakdown on the Avenger’s Bridge. The two went shopping in an attempt to bond, and Zephyr tried to get Jenny to open up and come out of the shell she had created – to be a young woman for once rather than just a Starfleet Officer. The attempt was successful to a point, until new orders came through from Starfleet Command – Jenny had been assigned as Acting Chief Tactical Officer on the Avenger. Though she desperately wanted to turn the position down, she eventually relented and accepted – realising that it was only one more mission, and would allow her to at least make up for attempting to run away without saying goodbye the first time she had attempted to transfer.
First Officer and the USS Artemis
Following the debacle on New Kanto, Jenny prepared herself for her career to come screeching to a grinding halt. It was during this time that, after what seemed like an interminable amount of time, she finally began a relationship with Bryan. When she returned to the Gettysburg, she was surprised by the sudden and unexpected promotion to First Officer.
Her career as First Officer aboard the Gettysburg was short, as the vessel was retired from active service to become a museum ship. Now First Officer of the brand new Vesta-class Artemis, Jenny was present when the Borg Contingency revealed themselves from their Rogue Planet hideout. With the Borg having returned, Jenny planned possible ways to pre-emptively destroy them when located, something that became somewhat of an obsession. During the Attack on the Borg Megasphere, Jenny commanded the “Forlorn Hope”, a task force of small craft and Attack Fighters initially intended to destroy the construct from within, from the bridge of the Support Ship Voltaire. Later she piloted the Artemis during its delaying action to allow other ships to strike at the Megasphere’s interior. It was immediately prior to this that she and Bryan married in a rushed ceremony in the Artemis’ Shuttlebay.
===New Family=Delta Quadrant==== With Quantum Slipstream Drive now rolling out across the fleet, the Artemis was assigned to the Pathfinder Project and assigned to explore the Delta Quadrant. With newborn Carly in tow and Bryan assigned to the Luna, Jenny struggled to juggle her duties as First Officers with her new status as a newlywed with a newborn. The Delta Quadrant expedition saw contact with the Talaxian race re-established, and limited hostilities with the Kazon resurface. ===Captain Braggins=== When the Artemis was withdrawn from the Delta Quadrant, Jenny found herself reassigned to command the Nikola Tesla as a "punishment" for an altercation with a member of the Federation Council; these orders were quickly rescinded and instead she was to take command of the Philadelphia. With a crew smaller than the Tactical Department on the Gettysburg, Jenny found herself at the top of the ladder, with responsibilities she had once wanted and a crew that would need careful guidance and moulding to correct mistakes they had made in the past. Her first mission did not go to plan; entering the Shackleton Expanse with orders to make first contact with the J'Shashia people, Jenny's actions nearly provoked armed conflict with the Tholian Assembly and resulted in the birth of an infant Crystalline Entity; though the Tholians were grateful for her assistance in delivering a being they had deified, and the J'Shashia applied for Federation membership, Jenny was recalled and removed from command for her actions.  Too reckless to leave to her own devices but too skilled to be allowed to leave the service, Jenny was assigned to command the SS Yeager, a retired starship from Starfleet's "Frankenstein Fleet". After refurbishing the ship to bring it back to operational readiness, Jenny conducted fetch-and-carry missions along the former Romulan Neutral Zone; hauling cargo too important for a civilian but not important enough to warrant a starship or convoy. Expected to fail, Jenny instead flourished in the more relaxed setting, and even brought a handful of pirates to heel during the course of her duties. Following her assignment to the Yeager, Jenny was called upon to command the USS Aquila, NCC-76853 in order to proceed into the Gamma Quadrant and rescue some Ferengi merchants who had disappeared after traversing the Bajoran Wormhole without permission; the politically-charged mission, which Jenny was sure she was only assigned to protect the reputation of the Aquila's prior Commanding Officer, was a success and resulted in the discovery of a colony of survivors from the Tal'Shiar/Obsidian Order attack on the Founders' Homeworld thirty years previously. Returning to the Alpha Quadrant with the Ferengi in custody and the colony's existence noted and logged, Jenny was considered "rehabilitated" enough that she was reinstated as Captain of the Philadelphia.
| Majors= Aviation - Helm/Fighter/Auxiliary Craft
| Minors= Xenolinguistics, Auxiliary Craft Maintenance and Repair, PhD PhDs in Military Tactics and Strategy and History with focus on Naval Aviation.| Hobbies= Playing the piano, electric guitar and sketching. Jenny has also recently taken up hoverbike racing.| Short= Turn her position as Acting First Officer the Philadelphia crew into a permanent positioncrew to be proud of.| Long= Settle down and come to terms with her life. Promotion Possible promotion beyond First OfficerCaptain, wherever that may take heror retirement.
| Personality= Jenny is generally quite quiet and reluctant to talk to new people but also extremely stubborn, sarcastic and not afraid to voice her opinion if she feels someone is wrong. This is mostly to do with her current situation, and the horrors she escaped from. When she comes out of her shell, Jenny can be the life and soul of the party.
| Humor= Jenny tries to find the funny side in everything, with varying degrees of success. Recently, however, she has been unable to see the funny side of anything.
| Phobias= Jenny is claustrophobic and afraid of the dark.
| Likes= Flying, loud music and drawing. Since her recovery, Jenny has developed a near-craving for raw (or at least very rare) meat.
| Dislikes= CardassiansRomulans, Romulans and KlingonsTelepaths, Botanists, Superior Officers who micromanage, Junior Officers who have an inflated opinion of themselves.
| Peeves=
| Habits= Jenny bites her nails, a habit she picked up from her father. She has also been known to smoke when stressed or upset.
| Strengths= Flying and tactics. Due to the genetic manipulation Jenny was subjected to, Jenny's dexterity, strength, speed and agility were augmented; this allows her to move faster and hit harder than normally would be considered possible. Furthermore, it improved her acute ear for sound and her ability to pick up languages and rhythms fairly easily. This has come in useful in both work and play situations.
| Weaknesses= Despite being genetically enhanced, the improvements to Jenny's intelligence did not seem to extend to mathematics; Jenny can plot a multi-leg warp journey or work out weapon ranges and fuel consumption tables in her head; ask her a basic multiplication question, however, and she will struggle. Jenny's distinct lack of social skills or self-confidence are also major weaknesses given her current position within Star Fleet.
| Fears= Cockpit fires, dark Dark and enclosed spaces. Her secret being exposed and the ramifications that would cause.| Prejudices= Cardassians, Romulans, Klingons and Ferengi.
| Painful= Finding out that her entire past had been a fabrication and that she was artificially-created for nefarious purposes.
