|History=Emma was born in an a Star Fleet run barracks set up to conduct the survival training consistently run for new recruits. Cadets would be expected to drink recycled sweat and eat all sorts of strange foods, survive the extreme heat and dangerous fauna.
Growing up in these barracks for a small child was in ways, lonely. In others it was endless days of adventure. At least for the adventuress. And Emma was adventuress.

|Personality=Tom-boyish in personality; she feels more comfortable in a room full of cigar smoking men then curling hair with a group of woman. Something people often don't realise due to how she dresses and presents herself. At times she can be a bit blunt and insensitive and she isn't always the most articulate. This probably comes from lack of human interaction growing up. She leans more towards women then men when it comes to romantic relationships but has been known to play both sides of the field.
|Humor=Easy and fun
|Phobias=Drowning. She swam a lot in the rivers and canoed white rapids in the Outback but still feels drowning would be the worst way to go and has had a scare or two to boot.
