Below are tables describing the effectiveness of different weapons against different targets, broken down by classification rather than class in order to more effectively describe the effects vs both [[Star Fleet]] and non-Star Fleet vessels. Though Type-1 Phasers are the standard armament of all Star Fleet vessels, their overall power and effectiveness is determined by the size of the power carrying such weapons, and therefore how much power can be directed to them during times of combat. A Heavy Cruiser would have more power to divert than a Frigate, and may have larger energy capacitors to store weapon energy in prior to firing - allowing more powerful blasts, or a longer duration of constant fire-on-target.
