=== Early Life ===
Shiso wasn’t born into the greatest life, even though her family was doing well enough within the Orion Syndicate. However, that fact wouldn’t unveil itself until her fourteenth birthday. It was time to enter the family business as she came of age, but in a cruel twist of fate Shiso learned she was somewhat a genetic anomaly that greatly hindered her.
=== Starfleet Academy ===
Victoria had learned of all the good Star Fleet had accomplished through the lens of David. Knowing from her personal experience, that a member of Star Fleet unlocked her own potential it was something that Victoria wanted to impart on someone else. It was the very least she could do. Despite David Vega being her guardian, Victoria wasn’t technically a Federation citizen. However, realizing Victoria wish to join the Academy, David helped endorse her application.
=== USS Charon ===
Victoria’s first assignment out of the Academy was the USS Charon. She’d heard through the rumor mill that being posted to that particular ship might not be a good move for her as it pertained to her career. Having just gone through two back-to-back mission failures, with the last one resulting in the death of its captain, there seemed to be some credence to what Victoria had heard.
Everything changed when Pond made it seem like Lincoln was trying to kill her with his bare hands. Perhaps it had been nothing but an overexaggerationover-exaggeration, but considering how unwavering Lincoln had seemed it wasn’t worth the risk of ignoring the potential threat. At gunpoint, but without firing a shot, Victoria managed to bring the fight to an end.
Despite her negative experiences, Victoria was able to proceed further in her career. Whether it was simply because of time served or that she’d actually impressed her superiors, she couldn’t say for sure. Regardless, the young woman had seemingly earned a promotion to Ensign.

=== Without a Home ===
Despite receiving another promotion, Victoria felt extremely useless as it seemed as though Starfleet had effectively grounded her. Even as a junior Lieutenant, Victoria wasn't able to determine why she'd been recalled from the proverbial front lines. As the days dragged on, she couldn't help but wonder if it was simply due to her being Orion, even if she didn't have any concrete proof to prove that.

Regardless of the actual reasons, Victoria knew she would need to work on improving herself. While she anticipated being more well-rounded in her tactical abilities could lead Starfleet to believe grounding her was a mistake, the young woman was equally unaware that her not letting people in was doing more harm than good. It wasn't exactly the easiest of times, but Victoria knew she would need to prove herself, once again.

Victoria's time as a free agent was set to come to an end, as transfer orders had been issued for her to report to the Aquila. That required transportation to Deep Space 9 to rendezvous with her new ship, as they were scheduled to be at the station. However, her transport vessel arrived at the station later than expected, and the Aquila had departed without her leaving her to await the ship to return from its mission into the Gamma Quadrant. However, despite the Aquila’s return, new orders were issued for Victoria to report to the Philadelphia.

|Short=To succeed on her first mission on duty, and to make David proud.
|Long= Victoria wants to truly separate from her Orion heritage, but she knows that’s a significant challenge as there will always be reminders.
|Personality=After the Charon gym incident, Victoria tries her best to be isn’t near as friendly as she canshe’d been before. She’s not rude, but doesn’t go out of her way to make friendships.
|Humor= Victoria doesn’t consider herself much of a jokester but believes she can hold her own.
|Phobias= Despite being as far as possible from the family business, Victoria is worried about losing her freedom once again.
|Time= As of yet, Victoria’s greatest memory is graduating from the Academy. It’s the start of her whole new life of actually achieving something.
|Crucial= The day she was rescued by Lieutenant David Vega was the most impactful. Victoria believes had he not made the effort to save her, there’d be no telling what kind of downward spiral she’d had found herself in.
|Role Model= Victoria look looks up to her parental guardian, David Vega. She joined Star Fleet in part because of him, and wishes to bring honor to the new life he provided for her.
