This template provides the header of the “Additional Characters Information” table of all STAR FLEET PERSONNEL COMMAND files; that is, biographies.

To make use of this header template, [[Template:{{PAGENAME}}]], the biography must include the following line within its <code>|Chars=</code> section:

Note that the player’s actual optional header must replace “Optional Header.” For example, <code>Active Characters</code> or <code>Inactive Characters</code>. To avoid display errors because of color, try one of two things: (1) Do not include double square brackets along with the optional header. (2) Leave “UFP” blank, like this: <code><nowiki>{{CHHeadTest|Character Name|}}</nowiki></code>, for a neutral color.<br />
Note that “UFP” here simply determines the header’s color, and should reflect the character’s affiliation—not the character’s species—and the appropriate one of the following should replace it:
