|Crucial=While working in the mines, shortly after the death of his uncle and friend, there was a similar tunnel being worked on. Because he remembered the material that had been corroded that caused the previous accident, he was able to detect the presence of the corrosion, and managed to get everyone out before it caved, saving countless lives.
