The [[USS Philadelphia, FF-6053]] along with the [[USS Nova, BB-106]], [[USS Sheridan, DD-4086]], [[USS Pegasus, CL-2500]], [[USS Ticonderoga, CA-1471]] and other 4th Fleet ships were ordered to undock from [[Star Base Delta]] and rendezvous at the [[Carraya|Carrayan System]] in response to a distress call from the Carraya IV planetary government.
