==== StarDate 191907 191801 ==== Engineer Officers Personal Log Stardate: 191801 Lieutenant Junior Grade Matthew Phoenix: [Begin recording. Ok I am not usually big on doing these but as part of my taking more of my job and position seriously I better start. As far as the mission from my point it was relatively easy one. We had a few minor hiccups that we have managed to track down to some errors on Star base Bravo engineers. Some mistakes that we have logged and will report when we return to our new base. Ah ya I haven't said that in my logs yet but we are reassigned. We I mean the Sheridan, have been reassigned to a new base damn near Cardassia space. A station named Pioneer. With that reassignment came the stranger thing as the new Fleet Commander a Read Admiral Jal, has decided that the Sheridan would hold the honor of Flag ship and has even taken command with this mission. That meant that the ship was supposed to be fitted with some new gadgets and toys especially for engineering however we only found mistakes as I mentioned before. So, on to the personal side of things. My relationship with Ms Charlotte Ingram has progressed nicely. She luckily has moved to Pioneer as well and started her own bar there. She just told me the other day that she granted me part owner. I know, I know, me part owner of a bar, free reign on an unguarded supply of alcohol. Crazy dangerous! However Charlotte ande I have become very serious and honestly I find I don't drink that often anymore. Actually come to think of it I haven't had a drink since I left Bravo. Well Coffee. Sometimes you have to substitute. Anyways Charlotte and a friend of hers has been put in charge of the first Holiday party on Pioneer so of course I have to go and look my best... I wander where my dress whites are and if they still fit. Well I guess that is all for now we are about to disembark and this shore leave should be better. Oh Ya and not to mention not only do I have to get all dolled up for this holiday party but old sourpuss Vulcan Sothrick is getting married. Yup he is tying the knot with a strangely perfect for him hottie while on shore leave and asked me to be his best man! How could I not! I am in a relationship long term and the Big ugly Vulcan is getting married, A new Captain, new base, The world is changing man and fast! All right Ill do another one of these after shore leave.
