Raven's face came in to view of the screen, she placed a steaming cup of tea on the table just before sitting in the chair in front of the screen.
She leaned back and considered what to say, her hand's Steepled in thought as she tapped the index fingers in her lips.
Finally after a couple of minuets Raven said “Um where to start … well the mission's beginning would help, Right let's do this.”
She reached over to retrieved the cup of tea and took a sip.
“Commander Boislevesque asked me if I would become ACMO as brooks is now acting first officer and Boilevesque himself is acting Captain. Both are suited to the duties.
I said yes and asked to bring Kai on board when we get back to port … Back to the mission :
Zombie mushrooms …. yes I said Zombie mushrooms, well mushroom spores to be precise, which took us to Outpost 147, the location is on the edge of Federation and Cardassian space, which is now a science and medical research , Command had received a security distress call relating to a medical emergency on the outpost, however before any more information was able to be obtained all contact was lost all we knew at this point was that they were doing research on mushrooms and how different environments affect them. Command has already sent the USS Tsung to the outpost as they were closer to the location.”
Raven paused to take another sip of tea then continued “ once we had arrived at the outpost we were in for a surprise … Commander Boislevesque sent an away team over to the outpost and to cut things short the away team was attacked by infected crew and the Sheridan was attacked by the Tsung. When the Away team returned they brought some infected with them and a hand to hand fight erupted. I was forced to take the life of one of the infected …”
Raven paused again this time to take a deep breath, she held it for about 5 seconds and then slowly released it. Taking the cup she got up and got another drink.
Seating back down in the chair she continued “I've never taken a life before … I didn't even realise I had till the fight was over. His blood covered my hazard suit” Raven looked at her hands
“Computer pause recording” Raven ordered the console beeped in response.

Raven had showered and changed to her out of work clothing and in to off duty t-shirt and jeans.
“Computer continue recording “ she requested
The computer complied with a beep.
“Where was I ...oh yes the mission, after the fight we moved samples to the science lab's where Midshipman Zenzin and myself worked on a cure. We tried everything, in the end it was a combination of science and medical as The Autopsies revealed how we could cure the infected. We're now on our way back to Pioneer Outpost for shore leave. Kai should already be there waiting with mum.”

Raven's image disappeared off the screen in a blink.
