When exposed to Earth-standard gravity environments, they need physical support to function. The type of support varies, but includes wearing an external skeleton, with integrated servomotors which helps by supporting the person's own skeleton. However, this only functions for short periods of time. For longer-term physical support, other forms of support are needed, like a wheelchair or an anti-grav unit.  A medical treatment was developed by Doctor Julian Bashir based on earlier neuromuscular adaptation research by Nathaniel Teros. By elevating the neural output to the brain's motor cortex via neural analeptic transmitters, he improved the theory, and made this treatment possible. The drawback of this treatment is that if started, no exposure to low gravity environments is advised because this would confuse the person's body and motor cortex. When finished, the person can move naturally in Earth-like normal gravity as most typical humanoids. The results of the treatment are irreversible.  Only a handful of Elaysians have ever left their planet. They approached the Federation Council with their concerns about the damage caused by warp travel through it. They further tried to persuade the council and their own people to avoid the use of warp travel in the area, even though it would mean the almost total isolation of their planet. When their theories were dismissed, the cientists first mined the corridor with verteron pulse producing devices in order to gain Star Fleet's attention. When this method appeared to have unsatisfactory results, one scientist caused a warp core breach on their ship, killing themselves, but creating a subspace rupture in the Hekaras Corridor and making it unsuitable for warp travel.   Following the incident, the Hekaran's theories were taken seriously. The Federation has encountered them only once, in 2266.  A Human named Charles Evans was the only survivor of a crash-landing on the planet Thasus. Because he was young and the planet was inhospitable to Humans, the Thasians granted him considerable psionic powers so that he might survive. After Evans was rescued from Thasus, he misused his powers and caused considerable trouble. The Thasians located him after he had used his powers to take control of the USS Enterprise. At close range, they had no difficulty preventing him from using the abilities they had granted him; this suggests they possessed at least the same powers as they granted Evans. One Thasian rematerialized people and objects previously dematerialized by Evans. It also transported itself to the Enterprise (or possibly projected an image of itself), and transported Evans from the Enterprise to its own ship. Thasians have the power to confer psionic ability on other beings. Once they have done so, they either cannot or will not remove this power. When Captain Kirk suggested that Evans belonged with his own people, the Thasian said "That would be impossible." When Kirk suggested Evans might be trained not to use his powers, the Thasian replied that "We gave him the power so he could live. He will use it &ndash; always." The Thasian then removed Evans from the Enterprise and disappeared with him, saying they offered him life, and would take care of him.
Antedeans are a civilization native to the Alpha Quadrant. They are a species of fish-like humanoids from the planet Antede III.
Antedeans find Thasians travel through space flight extremely traumatic and survive the ordeal by entering within a self-induced catatonic state. Upon arrival at the end glowing construct that is apparently their version of a voyagespace vessel. This does not seem to traverse space linearly, Antedeans require great quantities of food, known as vermiculainstead materializing and dematerializing. Sensors can detect this construct, to replenish their bodies. Few humans have seen an Antedean in the flesh. Antedeans have unsophisticated minds that could be easily read by Betazoidsbut deflectors indicate no solid substance.
<br clear=all>The Thasian encountered in 2266 appeared as a translucent, floating Human face, approximately one meter tall that wavered and rippled constantly. It stated that it had taken its form from centuries ago so that it might communicate with Humans. This is therefore unlikely to be the true form of most Thasians, and it may be that they can change forms only with difficulty.

Based on projections, the Valakians would be extinct by the 24th century. This would give the Menk the genetic advantage, making them the dominant species on the planet.

The Benthan Metrons are a warp capable powerful, enigmatic species whose government is known as the Metron Consortium.   The Metrons were first encountered by United Federation of Planets representatives in 2267. In that year, Captain James T. Kirk ordered the USS Enterprise to pursue a Gorn vessel that had destroyed an observation outpost located on Cestus III. As the pursuit passed the uncharted solar system, the Enterprise was scanned, the Gorn vessel was stopped, and Kirk assumed they were posturing to fight. But both ships were held in place, not by tractor beam or by spatial forces, but by a power the Enterprise could not detect. The Metrons declared both ships to be savages, and removed each Captain to a neutral planet to fight to the death. When Kirk won, but chose to spare the Gorn, his mercy surprised the Metrons. They then returned each Captain to this ship, and were able to relocate the Federation ship 1,600 light years from its previous position.   In this one encounter, the Metrons demonstrated many formidable abilities: manipulation of energy forms unknown to the Federation; scanning at great ranges; transportation of matter over great distances; and possibly Benthosterraforming in planets to specific requirements. All this suggests their science and technology is hundreds or thousands of years more advanced than that of the Delta QuadrantFederation.  Metrons have long lifespans; the representative that met Kirk was approximately 1,500 years old, despite appearing as little more than a boy. His comment to Kirk suggested an interest in the political and sociological geometry of the galaxy that was thousands of years old.

===General===The Ba'neth are an extremely xenophobic and reclusive Delta Quadrant species. They are known to have tentacles, and possess a relatively large fleet of ships, including at least one space station.
Changeling refers to any race with the ability to change its external physical features. The degree of physical transformation varies between different species. Some, such as the Chameloids and the Allasomorphs of Daled IV, are only able to change between humanoid forms. Others, such as the Founders from the Gamma Quadrant, are capable of mimicking virtually any phase of matter, including fog and fire, down to the molecular level.
They were noted for their capacity to alter their form to levels that were beyond that inhabit the same region of similar shape changing species such space as the WraithKesat, Vendorian and Chameloid races. (TLE novel: Night of the Wolves) In their most basic state Changelings resemble a golden translucent liquid. (DS9 episode: "The Search") This gelatinous substance which was held in a morphogenic matrix that activated into different shapes and textures through who until 2376 regarded the use of a special enzyme. This allowed a Changeling to adopt any shape and texture that they desired so long Ba'neth as they studied the shape long enough. They were unable to mimic an object through a simple glance and were required to see enough of the item or person they wished to copy in order to perfectly take its form. Butmyth, by doing since so, they were able to create a sophisticated facsimile of flesh and matter; allowing little was known about them to even take on clothing. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens) Changelings can take on almost any form; liquidUntil that year, solid, gas and even plasma such as flames. Their abilities are limited mainly at least 12 documented ships had been attacked by their mass: they comfortably take on humanoid formsunknown assailants, but can also take the forms of things somewhat largerleaving no survivors, and a great deal smaller. (DS9 episode: until Voyager's shuttle "The SearchDelta Flyer") The level of mimicry was so accurate that no known scanning technology encountered the species. Security Chief Lieutenant Tuvok was able to detect a Changeling once it had adopted interrupt a chosen form. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens) When a Changeling takes a form - such as a rock - Federation scanners would read Ba'neth from downloading tactical information from the Changeling as a rockStarfleet shuttle's computer. (DS9 episode: "The Adversary")
However, any piece of the mimicked item that was separated from the main body such as blood samples reverted back to their gelatinous state. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens) Any portion of a Changeling's body that becomes separated from the main body reverts back to its natural state. The fact that a person was bleeding was often accepted as proof that a person was not a Changeling as if they were their blood would've reverted to its natural state. (DS9 episodes The Adversary, The Way of the Warrior, and Homefront). Furthermore, phaser's that were set on heavy stun were able to force a Changeling to revert to its natural form. In addition, a Changeling that was killed also changed back to its true shape. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens) In addition, a special quantum stasis field was capable of preventing a Changeling from altering their form. (DS9 episode: "The Die is Cast")
Whilst they were capable shapeshifters, a Changeling was required revert Ba'neth utilize cloaking technology in order to its liquid state every sixteen hours to regenerate. (DS9 episode: "The Search") At such a timekeep them from being detected, they had choosing instead to spend least a single hour a day to revert back to its gelatinous form whereupon observe other species as they rested and rejuvenatedtraveled through the Ba'neth region of space. They were One Kesat was able to resist this for develop a limited amount way of time but they would eventually forcibly revert against their will and be unable to take a shape until they had rested. Some Changelings were capable of withstanding this reversion longer than others with some being noted as being able to last a week before changing back disrupting the cloak, which Captain Janeway used in order to their gelatinous statecontact them. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens)
Changelings often had an intense desire to merge together and join the Great Link; typically this was at least once a week if not more frequently. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens) In order to accomplish this, they simply reverted to their liquid based form and merged together whereupon a link was established as their forms blended together. (DS9 episode: "The Search, Part II") Only foundlings were usually able to resist this urge which was due to the fact that they had been raised without knowing of the Link and thus retained some degree of individuality. This was often an alien concept to the other members of the Great Link. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens) As such, they often thought of a single member of their race as a drop in a larger ocean and thus saw little sense in individual identity. (DS9 episode: "The Search, Part II")
The morphogenic matrix of a Changeling was not perfect and it was capable of suffering from instabilities that could threaten their lives. A Changeling was able of being infected by disease and could spread this instability In addition to defensive cloaking devices, the rest of their race through the Link thus threatening the entire species with Ba'neth have offensive technology such an ailmentas neural disruptors, which would erase short-term memory. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens)
The thoughts and emotions of Changelings could not be read by telepathic races such as the Betazoids. (DS9 episode: "Fascination") They were also able to survive in the vacuum of space, and were highly resistant to disruptor fire. (DS9 episodes: "Chimera", "Apocalypse Rising") The unique nature of the species meant that were were resistant to Borg assimilation. A Changeling was simply able to compress themselves and eject any nanoprobes within herself without any ill effects to them being seen. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Lesser Evil)
It is apparent that Changelings are themselves warp-capable as Laas pursued and overtook a Runabout while at warp speedThis species' name comes from the Kesat language, where "Ba'neth" means "shadow people."

The Botha are a reclusive, apparently humanoid species who inhabit a region of space in the Delta Quadrant. Hostile to outsiders, most vessels that enter their space are never seen again.

Despite their xenophobic nature and frightful rumors, inhabitants of the Delta Quadrant did not see the Bothans as aggressive, merely reclusive, careful, and protective of their region of space. They were apparently very concerned about vessels attacking their settlements.

In 2372, the USS Voyager entered their space, and attempted to negotiate passage. Almost the entire crew was neutralized in an elaborate series of hallucinations, apparently caused by a powerful psionic field generated by three Bothan ships. The hallucinations began with various elements from the victim's memory, and gradually became more inclusive until the person entered a comatose state, trapped in a fantasy reality.

The Bothans'telepathic attack was defeated by Kes, who was able to "mirror" their attacks back onto the perpetrator. This allowed her to trigger a resonance burst from the warp core, which blocked the Bothan's psionic field. Not much is known about the Briori. They presumably have a humanoid form.

In 1937, this species abducted over three hundred Humans from Earth, including famous female pilot Amelia Earhart. They transported these people to a planet in the Delta Quadrant to be used as slave labor. The Human slaves revolted, however, and overthrew their Briori masters, taking their weapons and technology, and eventually establishing a thriving settlement.

Fifteen generations later, in the year 2371, the settlement was discovered by the crew of the USS Voyager, along with Earhart and seven other Humans who had been left in suspended animation for unknown reasons.

The USS Voyager crew were assumed to be Briori when observed from a few dozen meters away, but were recognized as Humans from up close.

The star system that the abducted Humans were taken to was the Briori system. Its primary star is classified as a Class G star, with a magnitude of +5, the same brightness as in the Sol System.

However, the units terminated their builders to ensure their survival, and continued the war"First Prelate."
In 2372, the crew of the USS Voyager encountered a Cravic vessel manned by Cravic Automated Personnel Units. The technology of the Cravic ship is roughly equal to that of the Pralor, each with more powerful weapons, but slower engines than Voyager.
<br clear=all>Their people were once brilliant scientists and engineers, and the species is warp-capable. However, they decided several generations ago that their obsession with technological improvement was harming their species. As a result, they have withdrawn into their own star system, and hardly ever make contact with other species.
This species believes that the body is merely a reflection of a higher existence, and put this belief into practice with their death rites. Unusually, the Drayan aging process is the reverse of that of Humans: once they reach a certain age, they begin to "age backwards", and their elders appear to be children. Around their ninetieth year, they instinctually feel a call to a particular cave on one of their moons, and go there to die. The process of their death is uncertain, but they leave no bodies, only a pile of clothing. The Drayan believe that at the point of death, their bodies rejoin the infinite energy existing there. This was known as the "final ritual."  clear ===Entharan =Crystalline Entry=={{Sidebar \Species|Name=Crystalline EntryEntharan

Captain Janeway and the USS Voyager encountered this species in 2374, and attempted to buy goods a weapons trader. Unfortunately, an accident during a demonstration led Seven of Nine to wrongfully accuse the trader of mistreating her. Technology available to the Entharans included monofilament stimulators, electro-dynamic probes, micro-calipers, dermal regenerators, transporters, and weapons such as isokinetic cannons and thoron rifles. Some weapons were described as crude, but effective. Their starships were small but well-armed. They were also familiar with the Borg.

The Crystalline Entity was a powerful, spaceborne creature characterized by a crystalline structure that resembled a large snowflake. It had warp speed travel capability, formidable size, and the ability to consume all life on a planet or starship. Its origin was somewhere in Delta Quadrant.
The Entity functioned as a giant electromagnetic collector and needed constant power, converting organic matter into energy. Once the Entity ravaged a planet, its natural resources were completely stripped. No further life would be able to grow for many years. EverythingPhysically, including vegetation Haakonians are tall and bacteria, was completely converted. Bitrious matter was usually deposited in the Entity's wake, as were elevated levels of hydrocarbons, lanthanides, and nitrates. The Entity was unable to penetrate rock lined with both kelbonite and fistrium. Both metals needed to be present in order to refract the Entity's absorption power. The shields of a Galaxy starship were also impervious to the Entity. Dr. Kila Marr was one of the Federation's foremost experts on the Crystalline Entity, studying twelve attack sites including Forlat IIIpale skinned.
The Entity, to which thousands of deaths are attributed, attacked the planet Omicron Theta in 2336, stripping all living material from the entire colony and killing many inhabitants, including Raymond Marr, Kila Marr's son. Colony residents Dr. Noonien Soong and Juliana Soong both fled during the attack aboard an escape pod, although Juliana Soong was severely injured. The android Lore was an ally of the Entity and responsible for luring it to Omicron Theta. He tried to "feed" the crew of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D to the Entity after he was revived in 2364. Enterprises shields were enough to protect it from the Entity, and Lore was eventually transported into space. The Crystalline Entity retreated to parts unknown.
In 2368Sometime before 2346, the Crystalline Entity destroyed Haakonians conquered Talax. This was followed by a decade-long war, which concluded with the fledgling colony Haakonians' deployment of a metreon cascade on Melona IV. Two colonists, including Carmen Davilathe Talaxian moon, were lost in the attackRinax. Most of This weapon caused such devastation that it instantly ended the colonists survivedwar, thanks to a cavern lined with kelbonite and fistrium. The Enterprise rescued the survivors Talaxians yielding their homeworld and brought Dr. Marr to the planet so she could further study the attack. She worked with Lieutenant Commander Data in order colonies to develop a technique to communicate with the creatureHaakonians.
The Enterprise intercepted the Entity after it had killed the entire crew of a freighter, the Kallisko. They attracted the Entity by emitting graviton pulses at 10 per second from the Enterprise, as lower pulse rates had no effect on the creature. The creature approached the Enterprise, replying with a series of graviton pulses that the Enterprise crew interpreted as meaningful, but which it needed time to decode. Marr increased the pulse rate, eventually trying a continuous graviton emission. The Entity stopped emitting pulses of its own as the emissions drove it into resonance. The Enterprise crew tried to stop the emissions, only to find that Marr had isolated the access code for the emission controls. Before the crew could halt the emissions, the resonance shattered the Entity.
:The only known Federation encounter with the Haakonians was made by the USS Voyager in 2371, when a Haakonian scientist came aboard It is unknown whether Voyager seeking Neelix. The scientist had been involved in the Crystalline Entity war with the Talaxians, having been the one to develop the metreon cascade that killed thousands of Talaxians. Although allegedly seeking to cure a side-effect of that cascade, the man was a unique lifeform or simply a single member actually trying to reverse its original effects. Sadly his experiment failed, and he died of a speciesmetreon poisoning soon afterwards.

The Moneans are a spacefaring humanoid species from the Delta Quadrant. Originally nomadic, in the 21st century they discovered and settled on an artificially coherent planetoid of water, which they termed "The Waters". Their government is the Monean Maritime Sovereignty.

Although they built an industrial infrastucture and undersea dwellings, most Moneans still choose to live as their ancestors did: aboard ships. The Moneans possess limited knowledge of the deep regions of their home, as their best research vessel can only dive 100 kilometers, and The Waters' center is 600 kilometers deep. Unfortunately, the ocean eventually began to lose containment, at a rate that would result in its complete dissipation by 2380.

In 2375, the USS Voyager encountered the Moneans. Tom Paris, Seven of Nine and Monean scientist Riga embarked on an expedition on the Delta Flyer to investigate the containment loss. They discovered an ancient field reactor at the center of the ocean, and learned that the Moneans' oxygen refineries were increasing the ocean's density, forcing the reactor to divert energy from containment to its own structural integrity field.

From their findings, Riga recommended that the Moneans immediately reduce their rate of oxygen extraction, while Voyager offered to share replication technology so they would no longer have to remove it from the water. However, the Monean bureaucracy was reluctant to make such sweeping changes. Riga and Paris, acting against orders, attempted to take matters into their own hands by destroying the oxygen refineries, but they were stopped by Voyager.

Although they Nygean ships are corporeal, they use technology to exist in a collective dream state. They broadcast this collective dream into the surrounding space and used it to trap starship crews in a shared dream. The crews then eventually perished as their bodies lacked consumption of food and water. This seemed to be a defensive measure although it may have been a method capable of attackwarp factor 8. It is also unknown if this species operated real starships, because any seen in the dream state may have been illusionary2.

Physically, they are humanoids who release a unique pheromone. This affects other species, preventing them from remembering encounters with the Ramurans for more than a few hours. They supplement their naturally understated nature with technology, rendering them practically unknown to the surrounding civilizations. Their ships and personnel use cloaking devices and they use computer viruses to wipe any records of their existence from alien computers.

As a consequence of their obsession with maintaining a covert society, it is illegal for a Ramuran to try to leave. Any who do are hunted by the tracers. This force often acts in secret but will work with others if forced, relying on their technology and natural ability to fade from memory. When a cataclysmic war about 500,000 years ago ripped away their planet's atmosphere, Sargon and ten others chosen from both warring factions transferred their consciousnesses into spherical storage devices kept in a vault far beneath the surface. Sargon, his wife Thalassa, and Henoch, of the opposing faction, were eventually the only survivors - the other eight essences ceased to exist and their receptacles were dark. They were not true noncorporeal beings in that they required a receptacle to house their consciousnesses.

Appearing as metallic liquid in its natural state, this deuterium-based lifeform had the ability to change itself into that which it came into physical contact with. In this way, the Silver Blood made copies of Tom Paris and Harry Kim, including their memories, Star Fleet uniforms and combadges. These duplicates were altered to survive upon a Class Y world and could not survive in a Class M environment. Upon duplicating humans, the Silver Blood became sentient for the first time and quickly hungered for more. Holding the USS Voyager physically hostage on the surface of its homeworld, the Silver Blood copy of Kim negotiated to have Captain Kathryn Janeway give over samples of her crew's DNA so that it could be copied.  By 2375, the Silver Blood had replicated the USS Voyager itself, including computer memory and programs, and The Doctor. Having discovered their true nature, they set course for the planet of their origin, but did not make it in time, and failed even to make a time capsule detailing their history for others to find. The FantomeVaadwaur's species is are a humanoid specie believed species from the Delta Quadrant. They are characterized by a midline cranial ridge and scaly flaps of skin around their necks. Vaadwaur culture bears similarities to be native that of the Klingons, in that they advocated confronting death without fear. It was common practice for Vaadwaur to The Void anomalyencourage their children to fall asleep each night imagining a different way to die.
===Physiology===Fantome’s species possesses a unique Prior to the 15th century, the Vaadwaur discovered and extremely complex physiology. They have mapped the Underspace, a very large vast network of subspace corridors that allowed them access to star systems throughout the lungDelta Quadrant capacity. They used the Underspace for exploration, which allows commerce, and conquest, earning them to survive in a low oxygen atmosphere for a certain period the envy and enmity of hundreds of species. The population of the Vaadwaur around that time. They also have a voracious appetite; this is probably so they can eat as much as possible to build up reserves whenever they find foodwas six billion.
===History===They were first The Vaadwaur encountered by the crew Borg during their travels, who at the time had assimilated only a handful of star systems. Another of the USS Voyager in 2377races they encountered were the Talax-ilzay, modern Talaxians, living covertly on whose folklore included stories of a "phantom army" that appeared out of thin air and destroyed entire colonies before disappearing. In the ships old Talaxian language, "vaadwaur" is a word that were trapped inside of means "foolish", an admonishment to those who trusted the spatial anomaly called The VoidVaadwaur. They were extremely shy Numerous other, similar references also testify to the aggression of the Voyager crew but with a little coaxing seemed to do fine in interacting with others as soon as they were sure they wouldn't be harmedVaadwaur.
They didn't posses any verbal skillsEventually, but seemed to have a non-verbal language of their own. When coalition comprising the The DoctorTurei taught a member of the and other species, Fantome, was formed to communicate using a system end the Vaadwaur threat once and for all. Their campaign culminated in the orbital bombardment of musical notesthe Vaadwaur homeworld in 1484, it which was in turn capable of teaching this language believed to other members of its species have resulted in a fraction of the time it took to learn. Seven of Nine, who had first conceived extinction of the idea to communicate with them in this fashion, noted that the language seemed to be developing its own grammar and syntaxVaadwaur. This indicated that they did have their own language, and The Doctor theorized it might be telepathicTurei. They seemed just as comfortable communicating with music after learning howsubsequently claimed the Underspace for themselves.
They refused an offer by Voyager to be taken out of A Vaadwaur battalion, numbering 600, managed survived the Void, even though this would have given them a far easier lifeattack underground in stasis units. They considered Believing that the anomaly Turei coalition would quickly disintegrate after their home defeat, they intended to reawaken in five years and simply requested to be beamed to reclaim one of their former colonies. However, a random ship technical malfunction left them in the Void. They did however show stasis until they were discovered by the crew of the USS Voyager, 892 years later in 2376. The Voyager their gratitude for being welcomed crew found the Vaadwaur a new planet on board and being treated with kindness by aiding the ship and its small group of allied ships which to escape the Void by sabotaging the engines of their opponentsrebuild.
It is unknown what has become Frustrated by their antiquated technology and the encroachment of successors such as the Devore Imperium on their former holdings, the Vaadwaur resolved to take control of them after Voyager left instead. They were driven back with help from the Turei and Gedrin, one of their own who disagreed with their imperialistic ambitions. Fifty-three Vaadwaur vessels managed to flee into the VoidUnderspace, disappearing to parts unknown.

Early in their shared history, the Ledosians came into conflict with the Ventu and polluted their homeland. As a result, Species 312 erected an energy barrier over the Ventu's territory on the southern continent for their protection. The Ledosians eventually developed in a warp-capable civilization, while the Ventu remained a tribal hunter-gatherer society. In 2377, a Voyager shuttlecraft carrying Commander Chakotay and Seven of Nine accidentally crashed into the barrier. The two were marooned inside, but were able to neutralize the barrier with the help of the Ventu. The Flaxians are a spacefaring thumb|left|A male Vhnori species. Flaxian assassins are known to use thumb|left|pheromonicVhnori script sensors in their explosive devices.
<br clear=all>The Vhnori are a humanoid species, native to the Vhnori homeworld.
The Vhnori world is the site of many naturally-occurring subspace vacuoles, and these form the core of the Vhnori death tradition. They originally placed the bodies of the dead into these vacuoles believing that this would transport them to the Vhnori afterlife, called the Next Emanation.  Over time, this practice became combined with euthanasia. Vhnori citizens entered a device known as a cenotaph that killed them just before a vacuole opened. Unknown to the Vhnori, the vacuoles actually led to a planet in the Delta Quadrant. On this planet, the bodies of their dead had been piling up for thousands of years, resulting in the only known concentration of element 247.  All this was accidentally discovered by Harry Kim of the USS Voyager when he was accidentally drawn through one of the vacuoles to the Vhnori homeworld in 2371. He returned using one of the cenotaphs, having seriously disturbed the Vhnori's faith. However, it was discovered that an unusual amount of neural energy existed in the planet's rings, perhaps implying that the Vhnori afterlife may not be completely without foundation.  clear ===Vori =Gallamite=={{Sidebar \Species|Name=GallamiteVori

In one possible timeline, the Zahl were a technologically advanced and generally benevolent humanoid species who, a generation prior to 2374, defeated the Krenim Imperium. The Zahl disbanded the Krenim fleet and retook the territories they had annexed. In 2374, two Zahl starships greeted the USS Voyager upon its arrival in their space. During the meeting, the entire Zahl civilization was erased from history by Annorax's weapon ship. The erasure of the Zahl achieved an unprecedented 98% Krenim restoration, although the Krenim colony on Kyana Prime was not restored.
It is unknown what became of the Zahl after the timeline was returned to normal. clear  == Unknown Quadrant ===== Vorgon ===  A humanoid race who, by the 27th century, had developed the ability to travel through time.  In the 27th century, two Vorgon criminals attempted to steal a quantum phase inhibitor, a device capable of halting all nuclear fusion within a star.  In order to prevent the device from falling into the wrong hands, the inventor traveled back in time to the 22nd century and hid it on Risa.  Having failed to obtain it, the criminals searched historical records and discovered that Jean-Luc Picard would discover and destroy it in 2366.   Traveling back to that point in time, they told Picard that they were security agents, and that they wished to retrieve the device for safekeeping.  When Picard learned, however, that it was two Vorgons who attempted to steal it in the first place, he destroyed it instead, thus fulfilling his role in history.  Failing in their quest to obtain the phase inhibitor, they returned to their own time. clear
