The [[Star|star]] is approximately 78.2 [[Light year|light years]] from [[Sol]] ([[Earth]]). Its average apparent magnitude, as viewed from [[Earth|Earth,]] is 2.8, and its absolute visual magnitude is 0.9, making it about 37 times brighter than [[Sol|Sol.]] It is an orange [[Star Classification Table|subgiant]] with a [[Star Classification Table|stellar classification]] of K1 and an average temperature of about 3,925 degrees [[Kelvin|Kelvin.]] (See also the [[Astronomical Terms Database|Astronomical Terms Database.]])
